EL PASE DEL NIÑO VIAJERO EN CUENCA
All December 24, takes place -in Cuenca, Ecuador- a religious tradition called "El pase del niño viajero." For this event the cuencanas families prepare floats and, children (especially), covered on iconic characters as cholos, cholas, foremen, wise men, shepherds, angels, etc.. run through some city streets accompanying the image of the child Jesus.
This year it is known that this one shall be comprised of more than three thousand floats.
